Yesterday Priya could not extract file from our HTTP POST request.
Today we found out why.

See below the highlights of our email discussion.

Dennis:
Priya,

Could you please cooperate with us on what I and Andrey requested from you?

You already refused Skype session with us.
Skype is the fastest way to resolve technical difficulties like that.

But if you are not able to troubleshoot your environment issues with us over Skype - please at least send us what we asked for:
- Code snippets (Indeed Apply resume file extraction vs PostJobFree request file extraction).
- Value from $post['resumeData'] variable you are getting from PostJobFree request.

Priya:
Sorry about my Skype, I normally do not get online unless very emergency since its very distracting, but I tend to check and reply all emails received I hope you agree.
...

Please see attached
1. the resume after save
2. resume content from post before save
3. post data raw, two versions, without xss filter and with xss filter
4. indeed apply
5. postjobfree apply

Dennis:
Priya,

1) Thank you, that clarifies what is happening in your system a little.

2) candidate_post_raw.txt contains only part of resumeData (about 70% of original resumeData listed in http://requestb.in/xfzso4xg?inspect ).
...

Andrey:
Priya,

I already tried to post resumeData to your prod endpoint few hours ago

Priya:
yes, I found it, and it works :)
see attached, please send some more so I can validate

Dennis:
Priya,

Good.
The attachment looks correct.

So what was the root cause for the problem?

Priya:
It seem I had a copy paste issue on requestbin, the main logic was in place and no change required actually

We are trying to find out why Priya can not extract file from our HTTP POST request.

We sent single HTTP POST request with single base64-encoded file.
Priya emailed us back two incorrectly decoded files. Different size for both files.

-----
Dennis:
Why did you send us 2 files?
Did Andrey send you two requests?
...

Priya:
Hi Dennis, your questions sounds complaining, not questions actually
...
Why did you send us 2 files? - there were several tests, I sent you
last two, there are done on same data you posted to requestbin, only
the job id and key changed to be used on dev.

Did Andrey send you two requests? see above

Dennis:
3) You are saying that data changed between requests.
Do you mean that while you were playing with our single requestbin request you created different sets of data?
Could it mean that you actually did not accurately copy resumeData value from requestbin?

4) The code that you posted below - did you use exactly that code or you create that code only after you emailed two file attachments to us?

Priya:
3. Only when I see the format was not readable, I attempted by
changing the base64, you can ignore these test files, generate a new
requestbin with proper filename, I will adjust the code without trim
and test again when you confirm
4.same
-----

It is hard to understand what Priya means under "same".

Andrey interpreted Priya's "same" as:
"I emailed you the same code that I used to extract file from your HTTP POST request".

Unfortunately, that interpretation contradicts (3).
It also does not match with "either or" question that I asked in (4).
It also does not explain why Priya was getting wrong results.

The actual interpretation of "same" is:
"My answer to 4. is the same as my answer to 3. (that means I sent for your review the code that I did NOT actually use)."
