Lord of the Rings

dennisgorelikToday I, finally, watched Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring in full (it is available on Netflix now).
Over the years (since the release in 2003) I watched bits and pieces of Lord of the Rings, but never the full movie.
My impression: a solid fairy story. It is a good movie, but not among the best in my taste. "Total Recall", "Blade Runner", "Terminator 2" and even "Shrek" and "Matrix" - are better and more appealing to re-watch.
I have another unwatched classic yet: [original] "Star Wars".
