Software Engineer - best job
CNN article
claims that Software Engineer is the best ranking job in the US.
BTW, I'm a Software Engineer :-)

2) No, because IT-workers in SB don't contact with clients :)

Well if you are:
1) an IT contractor
2) know how to and can sell youself
Then this is actually realistic. :-)

Do you mean that just 20% increase of your salary (other things equal) wouldn't be enough for you to start wearing a costume?
Anyway, why would company pay you this additional 20% if you would do exactly same work?
